Welcome to Mill Candle Co

Mill Candle Co began with a gift of a candle making kit I was given one Christmas. This sparked a new love of making and developing beautiful candles, reed diffuser’s and melts.


I went on to train with an award winning candle maker where I learned lots of valuable hints and tips and I found out there was a lot more to candle making than I first thought. This gave me the confidence to move from making candles for myself to making candles for others to enjoy as well.

Our Story

I wanted to create beautiful products that don’t cost a fortune but look beautiful, and smell amazing. I have designed my candle collections with a simple, minimal & classic look which I feel will compliment every home.

I work with soy wax which is a natural, renewable and biodegradable resource. All wax and fragrance oils are Phthalates, cruelty free and vegan friendly.

Being a florist has had a great influence on my candles. There are so many inspiring scents from the flowers and foliage I work with, Candles and flowers naturally go together and I have created candle and flower packages for customers to give as gifts for loved ones.

I am very lucky to have a lovely wee studio space which Darren my husband made for me. I think he was fed up of the kitchen table always being full of candles curing or covered in flowers. Being a Mum to 3 girls it gives me the opportunity to work from home, sometimes they even help!

Candle light is so beautiful and the scents can spark lots of memories. All our candles, diffusers and melts are handmade for you to enjoy.
